The Key is to seek the Lord.
Until when?
Until that the only satifies your soul is Jesus
Until your flesh only craves for His presence
Until your heart finds contentment in His words and promises.
It’s gonna be a long run. Our faith will be tested, we’ll go through different versions of Job’s experience. We are fragile and tends to go back to our nature which is to sin so for all our days we should learn to seek Him with a purpose and a heart that is set right before Him.

“Refuse to be a halfhearted, lukewarm Christian. Fall so in love with God that everywhere you go, you overflow with a spiritual boldness of love and compassion that draws people to the joy of life in Christ.”— Craig Groeschel, Altar Ego

Preach the gospel to your soul.
As I study the psalms in depth, I’ve seen this repeated prayer over and over again, a sort of… conversation that the psalmist is having with his own soul. He asks, “Why are you downcast, soul? Why are you so disturbed??”
It’s as if he’s sat his soul down before him and is trying to figure out just what the heck his soul is even doing. Why are you upset? Why are you freaking out?!
And then he reminds his soul, remember God and the wonderful things he’s done for us!! Remember all of those times God is with you, and has helped you overcome and flourish. Remember those times in the moments of despair, soul. These enemies around you are nothing to God, soul. No word spoken against you could EVER compare to the love spoken to you, soul.
And to finalize his corrections, he reminds his soul that he will yet praise the God of his salvation. His rock. His mighty comforter. He won’t settle for his soul being downcast, he’s going to keep striving for joy in God.
Preach to your soul like this. Sit down and demand your soul remembers the goodness of God, the mighty saving grace of Jesus Christ, and the kingdom to come. Remind your soul why it needs to worship even in the depths of despair.
